Empowering Youth, Transforming Communities

Challenge Day NZ - Te Taumata Manaaki ignites positive change in schools, organisations and communities across Aotearoa New Zealand.

Our powerful, day-long workshops inspire participants to break down barriers, build empathy, and create a more inclusive environment. Join us in our mission to foster understanding, compassion, and unity among Kiwis.

Powerful, life-changing programs

We are an organisation that helps rangatahi and adults learn to connect through powerful, life-changing programs in their schools, communities and workplaces.

The day-long, experiential program provides tools to tear down the walls of separation, and inspires participants to live, study, and work in an encouraging environment of acceptance, love, and respect.

Challenge Day programs increase self-esteem, help shift dangerous peer pressure to positive peer support, and reduce the acceptability of teasing, oppression, and all forms of violence.

Our programs inspire rangatahi and communities to 'Be the Change' they wish to see in the world, and challenge others to do the same.

Using interactive and energetic activities, Challenge Day Leaders guide rangatahi and adults on a carefully-designed exploration of the ways people separate from each other, and model tools for creating connection and building community.
